The winding path before you is missing some of its stones. You can’t see where it leads, but you can hear the hum of insects and see a gnarled tree rising above you. A single poppy rests at its base. Mist swirls at your feet and a voice from somewhere in the distance beckons to you. Though the light of day is fading, the choice still remains.
